The bungalows at Star East are tucked away from the main street, providing a peaceful and quiet sleep. The staff was friendly and accommodating, working around my messy luggage. I appreciated the availability of free cold water refills from a clean dispenser. The room had a comfortable bed and ample storage space. The attached kitchen was a nice option, even though I didn't use it this time. The bathroom had good water pressure most of the time. The terrace had a towel and wet clothing rack, along with a solid table and chairs. despite some drawbacks, I had a decent stay at Star East Bungalows.

During my recent stay at Star East Bungalows in Amed, Bali, I found two features of the hotel to be quite convenient. as a frequent traveler, I often seek accommodations for transit purposes, and this hotel perfectly suited my needs in that regard. the hotel offers a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, making it incredibly convenient for guests to travel to and from the airport.
The room I stayed in had a significant amount of dust and was not cleaned properly.

We had an amazing stay at this place. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach and tucked away in a quiet area. We loved that it was between the two main beach areas, allowing us to easily explore both. The service was top-notch, with options for car hire, dry cleaning, and grocery shopping available. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist us with our needs. The room amenities were fantastic, with everything from a convenient work table to a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. And the free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus.
We highly recommend this hotel to others. The only downside would be if you're looking for a place that allows pets, as they don't allow them here.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. One evening, we were searching for a good place to eat and the receptionist recommended a small restaurant nearby. It turned out to be a hidden gem with delicious food that left our taste buds dancing!

We enjoyed our stay just a few minutes away from the beach on a quiet street with no noise disturbances. The hotel had basic amenities such as a clean water dispenser and a silent ceiling fan which helped provide a comfortable environment. The staff was accommodating and unobtrusive, ensuring a peaceful stay. Additionally, having a kitchen in the room was a bonus for those who are looking for more affordable meal options.
Nothing to be said.

The location of the hotel was great as it was situated a little further from the main town and closer to the beach. This gave a sense of peace and quietness. The room was spacious enough and we liked that there was a kitchen with a fridge. the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The hotel needs a bit of maintenance as the furniture was slightly run down, the bathroom sink drained slowly and the towels and linens were stained. The WiFi was also spotty and the water pressure wasn't consistent.

Located in a very quiet area, this accommodation offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. it’s just in front of the beach and between the two main beach areas, so you can access them with ease. the bungalows have a decent kitchen, a solid table, and two chairs on a nicely dimensioned terrace, offering a comfortable place to relax.
The maintenance of amenities needs improvement.
